I don’t know where I would be or what I would do without the love and support of my family and friends.  The road of life is filled with detours, potholes and all kinds of twists and turns – if it wasn’t for my family and those very special friends I don’t think I would be sitting here right now writing this blog post.

We all need someone to lean on – to confide in and to help us navigate the various challenges and set-backs life throws at us.  It’s taken the untimely death of a former student (Ross Rogers) who was like a son to me,  to truly make me realize just how precious life is and how important family is. Sure, I paid lip service to this fact over the years, however this past week it’s hit home just how much we all rely on one another –…

The world lost a very special young man the other day.  Ross Rogers was a former photography student of mine and a very special friend, in addition to being a  close friend to my son Adam.  Ross traveled to Ireland with me last year on a photography adventure and I still remember hiking through the hills and glades of Ireland with cameras in hand with Ross.  So many of his friends and family are grieving right now. There are no words to say that can even come close to making sense of his death. What a tragedy!

We Love you Ross!  God Speed!

Funeral Service will be held @ 2:00 pm Saturday, March 3rd at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
